Description
Every time I'm strolling in Montreal's streets, I'm always amazed to see homeless people with their pets. They have such a strong relationship! Theanimals are bringning to their owners love and security. Sadly, some people don't
seem to be understanding that and hurtful remarks towards them are not rare.
A prejudice, believed by many, is that homeless people don't take care of their animals, but it's all false. For homelesses, their animals are their family and some
of them are even going to feed their pets before eating themselves.
So, I've decided to paint a scene representing a homeless with his animal. I
thought it would be more interesting to do the portrait of an existing
person with his animal. So I went on http://homelessnation.org and I
proposed to a homeless girl to do the portrait of her and her
dog. She nicely accepted and here's the result.
Made with photoshop with a wacom. Please go see the closeups! Hope you like it!
